DO YOU PREJUDGE

1 Samuel 16:7 For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

This is a subject we are all guilty on. We have all at some point in time prejudged someone or some circumstance. I have had to repent for this a million times, and still fall short on this issue. It has always been a part of my life to question everyone and everything. So because I have struggled with trust issues my whole life; it was always my go to place to immediately prejudge. With this area I can say that the CREATOR is still working on me with that and I am a work in progress.

Now I can also say that I have been prejudged by others as well. There have been times where people who do not fully know me or could have just met me prejudge me due to others speaking against me in certain circumstances. One thing is certain though and that is in both situations the CREATOR has watched every heart. Every second of the day the CREATOR watches the intentions of our hearts. No one is better than the other and no one is less than the other. The CREATOR loves us all.

So my encouragement to you today is: before we prejudge or even become critical of others because we do not always know their journey; lets choose to look at them the way the CREATOR does and try to see their hearts the way HE does. HE loves unconditionally; so should we. Have an amazing day!

WHAT'S YOUR TESTIMONY

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

When you look at today's encouragement title can you say how many times someone has asked you that question. For some it will be a lot. For some it may be never. Whether you have been asked or not; the truth is we all have a testimony. We have all been through life situations. Some will have a good outcome, and some may not, but no matter what the outcome may be the CREATOR has been and will always be holding you in HIS hands.

I would like to share something with you that many do not know about. When my life changed almost two years ago; inwardly I had this thought "CREATOR who is really gonna care about my story?" No I was not then nor am I now looking for sympathy. However, I knew that what the CREATOR had done in me and for me was something that I wanted to share with others so that it could help bring hope. Yes my life will never be the same and I can never go back to what I knew. So today I choose to share my testimony with others. This is my testimony: my whole life I felt abandoned, unloved, unworthy, never feeling like I belong; until the CREATOR rescued me out of that darkness, and today I know that I belong to the CREATOR, I was and never will be alone, I am fully loved and wanted all because of HIM.

So my encouragement to you today is: no matter where you may be in this journey called life; reflect on what the CREATOR has done for you, in you, and who HE is to you; and share your testimony with others so that they may see the goodness of who the CREATOR is. Have a blessed day!

THE SUN WILL SHINE AGAIN

2 Samuel 23:4 And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises; a morning without clouds; like the tender grass springing out of the earth; by clear shining after the rain.

As I have shared many times before there are many people who will walk through very challenging situations in this journey called life. Sometimes it will feel like the rain will never stop. There will be times where it will feel like life is so dark and gloomy that you just wished there could be another way out. Well my friends there is and HIS name is the CREATOR. HE is the light that will always shine so brightly in your situation.

In one major part of my journey I learned that the CREATOR does HIS best work when things look dark. When there seems to be no way that's when HE shines HIS light so bright. Then you can look up and see that HE was absolutely with you in every step. In the dark and in the light. So my encouragement to you today is: no matter how dark your situation may be keep looking to the CREATOR so that HIS light will shine on your life, and when after all of the rain has passed; look again because the sun will shine again in your life.
