Will You Stand

So many times in life we look for others to stand up for us. Most of my life I did. However, I learned this very important fact just yesterday as the CREATOR shared this very thought to my heart. " Never place the expectation on someone to stand up for you when you don't even stand up for yourself."

Now I have always been a verbal person. When someone says something against my family I would always address it and not always in the right way. Through much learning from the CREATOR today I handle things much differently. Now don't get me wrong I still address things that need to be addressed but only when it really needs to be. Most of the time now I just give it to the CREATOR to handle.

So my encouragement for you today is: always look to the CREATOR to help you stand tall on this journey called life. Try not to be so discouraged if mankind doesn't stand for you; know with all security and confidence in the CREATOR that it's always ok for you to stand for yourself. You are strong enough for this life journey.

Focus On The Promise

Many times throughout our day we get very distracted by what's going on around us or others. It's those distractions that keep us from daily keeping our eyes on what's before us and that's HIS promises. Can you think of any specific promise that the CREATOR has made to you?

One thing is certain and that is: HE always keeps HIS promise. When you stay focused on HIS promises most of the time those distractions just subside. Strength to stay focused can be challenging but it can be done. I use to stay distracted so that I wouldn't have to face things about myself but now I actually enjoy learning things about who I am. We can also be our own distraction.

So my encouragement for you today is: with everything that is around you that could keep you easily distracted please allow yourself to stay focused on every promise that the CREATOR has given you and push forward with everything you have inside of you.

The Fear Of Love

I know that the title of today's encouragement may seem strange and may not make sense. However, I would like to share something with you and I hope that it will shed some light on this title. When the CREATOR shared this title with me I thought this is crazy.

Then I realized that the very thing HE not only wants to give us is the very thing that we need to give others, and it actually scares most of us. Well, for most of my life it did and sometimes still does. How can we give love to others when we find it difficult to even receive love. Love was never meant to scare you.

So my encouragement for you today is: no matter what your journey in life is please allow yourself to be loved by the CREATOR. Allow HIM to fill you up with HIS love so that you can pour out that same love to others. HIS love will always cast out every part of fear: fear= false evidence appearing real.
