The Camera Lens of Life

Have you ever stopped and thought about which lenses you are looking through? Yes, I know that this is a question that most of us are not frequently asked. Years ago my husband would sit and share things with me about what he was studying, and he would always say "well that's just how I see it."

That statement began to make a lot of sense to me as I would grow in certain areas of my relationship with the CREATOR. Life is very different for everyone and we will all see things differently. We will all look at life, situations, creation, and the CREATOR through different lens. No one is wrong and no one is right. Everyone will look through a different lens.

So my encouragement for you today is: throughout your life journey you will see what many will not see, and if you allow yourself to see what the CREATOR wants to show you; you will be amazed at the heart of your Heavenly Father.

TEACHERS OF LIFE

So many times throughout life we look back on the many lessons that we have learned; which is a great thing to do; but do we look at those that are teaching us? Often times we don't. Teachers will come in many different ways, and the most important teachers in our lives are parents.

Sure most parents today say: I could never homeschool my kid or kids, but what most parents have forgotten is that even though they may not be teaching school lessons; they are teaching their children life lessons, and the biggest lesson is how we treat others. Are we teaching love and kindness, or are we teaching bitterness and anger? What are we teaching?

So my encouragement for you today is: even when you think you are not teaching your children; we are. We as parents should allow the CREATOR to show us what we really are teaching them. We will never teach perfectly, but we can teach them love, and how to show it to others; just as the CREATOR has shown us.

LOVE FOR A LIFETIME

The greatest gift the CREATOR has ever given us is: love. HE loves you tenderly and unconditionally. HIS love for us will be eternal. While we are walking our journey on this earth HE will love you so much that it will last for a lifetime.

As we laid my sweet friend to rest yesterday the word that stuck out the most and to every single person was love. She endured a lot on this earth, but through it all she is and will be remembered for the love that she showed. Her love will last for a lifetime for her family and friends.

So my encouragement for you today is: no matter what you endure, and no matter what you have to face do it all with love. Love the CREATOR, love others and also love yourself. That's truly living like the CREATOR. Let your love last a lifetime for those in your life.
