VALLEYS AND MOUNTAIN TOPS

Isaiah 49:11 I will make each of My mountains a road, and my valleys shall be elevated.

When most people think of a valley or a mountain top; they think about low lying areas with the greenest grass around. Then when they think about the mountain tops most have the image of the beautiful snow caps on the top of them, and how high they really are. Most do not think about the lows and highs of life. For the majority of my life I have been like most and when I asked the CREATOR to show me great and mighty things or to show me more of HIM; HE did.

However, it was always in the valleys where HE showed me HIM. When I faced difficult seasons in my life the CREATOR was right there showing me that it would be alright. Every one will have a different view of what the mountain top should look like, but for me the CREATOR is that mountain top.

So my encouragement for you today is: no matter how deep or dark your valley may be; know that if you daily keep your eyes on the CREATOR (the mountain top) you will always climb out of that valley.

HIS HANDS OF PROTECTION

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises up against you in judgment shall be condemned. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.

Have you ever had a season in your life where you just felt attacked on every side? That no matter what direction you turned or which path you took; the darts are always thrown. Well, I'm sure we have all faced a season like that a time or two. Even in those seasons there is beauty. The beauty is that those darts can never harm you. The CREATOR places HIS hands all around you which makes a wall of protection for you.

As any parent who truly loves their children would protect them at all cost; that's the same thing the CREATOR does for each of us. It will never matter what or who comes against you; HE has you covered. The attacks may never stop or completely go away, but you can rest in full peace that HIS hands will keep you safe at all cost.

So my encouragement for you today is: whatever season you may be in; know that the CREATOR will protect you, and whatever or whoever is firing the darts will be dealt with by the CREATOR. Knowing that HE fights the battles for you will keep you in HIS peace, and show the enemy that he messed with the wrong kid. Find comfort that you are daily protected by the CREATOR.

HIS GENEROSITY

Proverbs 11:25 The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.

As this title kept coming to my heart for the last several days; I looked up the definition of generosity and this is it's meaning: the spirit and action of freely and frequently giving to others. That is definitely a character trait of the CREATOR. HE truly loves to bless HIS children on a daily basis. Now most of us will think of material things, but today my heart focuses on other things like joy, love, freedom, peace of mind, and most of all love.

HE will always send someone to show you generosity when it is needed. The generosity that is shown by that someone is really the generosity of the CREATOR'S heart. Every day HE gives you something; can you daily recognize it? If you pay close attention; you will see it.

So my encouragement for you today is: each day as the CREATOR shows HIS generosity to you; you can show that same generosity to others. The gift of giving will continue on for eternity. Oh what a blessing that will be. So lets allow the river of generosity to flow freely and daily.
