NO MORE CONTROL

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."

In today's encouragement I would like to share with you about an issue that most people struggle with, and truth be told: I struggle with it every day. Inwardly I always knew that I had control issues, but never knew why I had them. Then, when my whole world flipped and I learned that so much was stolen from me and my dad in not being biologically related; I began to realize that fear was rooted in me and then it stemmed off to control. To always be in control gave me stability in life.

Today I am learning to let go of control. Its not easy! I do daily take small steps in certain areas, and I am getting better with it. In this letting go; the CREATOR is patiently and lovingly working in my heart. HE will do the same for you as well.

So my encouragement for you today is: if you have control issues please allow yourself to take daily steps in giving those issues to the CREATOR. There is freedom after every layer of healing that will be done in your life. Even if you have to daily speak: No More Control; the CREATOR will give you strength in those weak areas. Remember: your strong enough to handle it.

THE GIFT OF GIVING

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Most people today enjoy getting a gift from someone. It always makes your heart feel happy and loved. Well that is the same for the CREATOR. Each morning when we wake up and give thanks to HIM for all that HE has done; it makes HIS heart filled with joy and it lets HIM know that HE is loved by us. I know that we all get busy and sometimes we don't make time for HIM. However, when we take time no matter what time of day it is to spend time with the CREATOR; it also fills our hearts too.

The CREATOR has given so much to us and continues to give to us daily. As we come before HIM with a thankful heart; it blesses HIM so much that HE turns around and blesses you. So my encouragement for you today is: no matter what is going on throughout your day; take some time to give thanks to the CREATOR because it will always be a gift to HIM.

IF YOU BELIEVE

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, " With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

There are many people today that live life in disbelief. Not knowing what is true or false. One thing is absolutely true and that is: the CREATOR is with you every single day. A very special friend of mine from high school for many years lived her life knowing the possibilities of what the CREATOR could do for her life. You see she had a miscarriage and lost a set of twins. Her heart was shattered for years, and then the CREATOR blessed her life with a set of twins girls. She enjoyed every minute of her pregnancy.

As her girls were growing up; things between her and her husband started to change. Divorce was their next step. She felt broken again on the inside, and felt like the CREATOR threw her to the wolves. She made a choice to walk away from the CREATOR. I still pray for her, and I will always care for her. What was impossible in her life; the CREATOR made possible. HE does it every day in all of our lives; we just have to hold onto our belief in HIM.

So my encouragement for you today is: whatever the situation you may be walking through; don't walk away from the CREATOR. Hold onto HIM and your truth; that in HIS timing HE will make that situation transform from impossible to possible.
