YOU WILL GIVE HIM ALL OF YOU

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

I would like to start this encouragement off by sharing something very personal about my heart with you. There is a tender spot in my heart concerning something that happened to me when I was a teenager, and for the longest time I did not share it with anyone until one day I decided to share it with my husband, and it took me only ten years into our marriage for me to open up about it. Once I did it was then that I felt the CREATOR tug on my heart, and say "will you give me all of you so that I can heal you?"

The fear that I felt in that moment was very real but it was time to start healing, and that was very different because I was used of the hurt. The CREATOR already knew that spot was there, but I had to choose to allow HIM to heal me, and so I did. My healing came in a way that I would not have imagined but it definitely came in a gentle way from the CREATOR.

So my encouragement for you today is: please allow the CREATOR to heal all of you; even the parts that you don't know about. There is full freedom, joy and peace on the other side of that process. You can have all of what the CREATOR wants to give you!

WILL YOU POUR

Acts 20:35 I have shown you in every way by laboring like this; that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus that He said," Its more blessed to give than to receive."

On this journey of life there will be people that will be brought into your life and then there will be people that will leave your life. There will be different seasons that the CREATOR will use certain ones to pour into your life. That is always a blessing from HIM. The pouring is meant to deposit goodness into your soul. When those seasons are done; the CREATOR will send another your way. I am grateful for each vessel that has poured into my soul. Once the pouring is done then its up to you to decide what you will do with it.

Will you hold it in or will you pour into others. I have always enjoyed encouraging people. There were times that I had nothing left in me to pour out, but the CREATOR always refilled me so that I could pour out again. Yes I have walked through many dark valleys, but what's been poured into me is now time for me to share in a greater way with others. In reality we should all pour into someone because we do not always know what they are walking through.

So my encouragement for you today is: to please take a moment and ponder on the vessels that have been sent your way by the CREATOR to pour into your life, and then look for someone to pour into so that you can now be that vessel. Bringing joy to the heart of the CREATOR is reward enough.

THE GIFT OF A MOM

Proverbs 31:28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her.

This is a holiday that will be joyous for many, but then it will be hard for others. Yes we all have mothers, but there is nothing like a momma's heart for her children. I have been fortunate enough to be blessed by the CREATOR with three different women to love me like a daughter throughout my journey. Then along came my own children whom I love with all of my heart and soul. The greatest joy a woman can have is being a momma. There is so much that we get to deposit into the next generation.

The long hours, sleepless nights, and all of the emotions that come with being a mom is worth every second of life. The CREATOR gifted a woman to be a nurturer, a caretaker, and most of all a giver of life. As she daily raises her children and pours goodness into their lives; those seeds of love will come back to her as her children bless her with their love. So my encouragement for you today is: look at the blessing the CREATOR blessed your life with when you look at your momma; rise up and bless her with your words and your actions of love.
