FEAR STOPS LIFE

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

One of the biggest issues people deal with today is fear, and many of them do not even know it. I can say that statement is very true. I am one of those people. For many years I have had situations come my way and did not even realize that the reason why I would not move forward was all because of fear. Today I know that there are many layers of it and it also comes in different ways. So I would like to share one of my layers with you. I have always had a fear of losing my husband and kids. I never knew where that fear came from until my whole identity changed with my dad and then lost him eight months later.

When the truth of my identity changed biologically; emotionally all of who I was died. It was then that I realized why I was so scared to lose my family. I still have a lot of healing to go through but my choice today is: that I want to live life to the fullest and have no fear.

So my encouragement for you today is: if you are willing to allow the CREATOR to show you where your fears stem from and heal you from it; I know that you will be grateful that HE removed that layer from your life. I am today at a new level of life because of the work the CREATOR has done in me, and I am fully convinced HE will do the same for you. So lets get the fear removed!

FIRST LOVE

1 John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.

There will come a time in our lives where we will experience that first love with someone. Many will be when they are young, and many will be when they are older. We all go through the mushy stages in our relationships; however, no matter how we feel towards another human being; the love between the CREATOR and your heart will outdo anything on this earth. I would like to give you an example: twenty years ago when I met my husband I fell deeply in love with him and he became my whole world.

Throughout our relationship we have experienced many strange turns along the way. Today I love him more than I did the day I met him, and the only reason for that is because of the CREATOR. Now, there was a time when I placed my husband before the CREATOR, and because of life situations I had to learn that it was the CREATOR that needed to be first in my life. As much as my husband loves me; he couldn't love, heal, or even take away my pain like the way the CREATOR did. Yes I love my husband with all my heart, but I love the CREATOR more.

So my encouragement for you today is: no matter who loves you or who you love; the greatest love you will ever experience will be the love from the CREATOR. If you place HIM first in your life; your love tank will never run dry. Have a blessed day!

Getaway

Every now and then it's always good for each of us to rest our minds, bodies, emotions and hearts. So that's what my family will be doing. Even though it's a small getaway it's what's needed.
