DO YOU WORRY

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication; with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

There are many people who daily worry about life issues. Stress is a killer. That is not what the CREATOR wants for HIS creation. I would like to share something with you that my daughter shared with me yesterday, and it was very profound. As we were doing our normal momma-daughter talks she looked at me and said " momma this came to me last night- Stop worrying about what could happen and start wondering what will happen." There is so much truth to that statement.

I spent a lot of time worrying about things in my life and it always kept me looking backwards. I know that the CREATOR has a plan for each of us, and if we will look forward and begin to imagine the goodness of the future I know that a lot of that worry would diminish. Trusting HIM in every second of our journey will be very testing for us, but each day if you can be grateful; your heart will be filled with great peace. So my encouragement for you today is: allow the CREATOR to handle your life issues and focus on the good that can come from it; HE has HIS best waiting for you.

SHINE

Matthew 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Throughout our life journey there will be many people that will cross our path. We will never know what background they may come from; so the best gift we can give them is letting them see the light of the CREATOR shine through us. Yes, there will be days when we will not feel like shinning, but if we push through our own life issues; we could be that very great blessing that someone needed on that day. When you can see a smile on someone's face; you can know at that very moment the CREATOR is smiling too.

There were many times someone would say to me" shine your light and walk in love". I had a hard time doing that, but today its a joy to my heart just to share the goodness of the CREATOR to you and so many others. So my encouragement for you today is very simple: just shine your light so that others will see and come to know the goodness of the CREATOR.

CAN YOU TRUST HIS LEADING

Psalm 119:133 Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.

Each day when I ask the CREATOR what I should write next for you, and when HE gives me these titles; somehow I can see the reasoning for each of them after the fact. As this title was put before me; it caused me to reflect on a specific journey I walked several years ago. I always said I trusted the CREATOR, and in my heart I really thought I did. Then when HE wanted me to learn what trust was really about; it became a process every day in learning how to take my eyes off of everything around me and really look upward to HIM.

I learned that in every step of that trust walk HE held me by the hand and never let me fall. Where HE wants to lead each of us will be a process. Every day will look different; some will be strange, some days you will want to turn around and go back. However, if you can keep your hand in HIS and don't let go: HE will lead you to everything HE has for you.

So my encouragement for you today is: even though your steps may feel shaky along the journey; allow your heart to completely trust HIS leading; you will be so glad that you did, and you will live in freedom, joy, peace, and happiness just like HE wants you to. The journey will all be worth it.
