WHAT'S YOUR SOURCE

Proverb 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it spring the issues of life.

There are many things in life that will fuel certain issues in your heart. When you ponder on these things to understand why they fire up; try to see where the source of these issues come from. When you ask the CREATOR to show you; HE will. It may not always happen in the timing that you want, but in HIS timing; HE will make it known. This will require patience, and that is not always easy. Throughout my life journey I struggled with the emotion of abandonment. The source of that came from being told my father never wanted me. Truth is: he did want me in his life even till the day he passed away.

My truth today is: I was never and never will be abandoned because the CREATOR was with me then, and HE will be with me till the end. That is exactly what HE will do for you as well. I don't know what issues you may be dealing with, but this truth I can share with you and that is: the CREATOR loves you! So my encouragement for you today is: no matter what issues you deal with or don't deal with; if you draw from the CREATOR on a daily basis, and allow HIM to daily cleanse your heart, mind and soul; you will absolutely have life and have it abundantly!

THE SEARCH

Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me; when you search for Me with all your heart.

One of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself is alone time with the CREATOR. Many in society today spend their time searching for things or even people to fill the holes in their hearts. I can talk about this topic openly today because I spent a lot of time searching for others to fill those holes too. My search caused me to end up in many different empty places, and even with empty people. Then the time came and I started a new search. That search lead me straight to the CREATOR'S heart.

When we daily seek alone time with the CREATOR; you will find out things not only about your life, but you will learn the most important information and that's everything about who the CREATOR really is. When you allow yourself to give the CREATOR all of your heart; you will see that HE will give you all of HIS heart. So my encouragement for you today is: if you can allow yourself to shift your focus and attention all towards the CREATOR and the CREATOR alone; you will look at life in such a different way and you will be so glad that you did.

JOY RESTORED

Psalm 51:12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous spirit.

Along our life journeys we encounter many bumps in the road. Some of those bumps cause us to lose our joy. One of the main reasons why we lose our joy is because we have taken our focus off of the CREATOR. Sometimes our joy can be lost due to others who have caused us pain and hurt along the way. I would like to share with you about a season in my daughter's life where she was emotionally hurt from others who called themselves her friends. Because of that season she closed herself off from allowing anyone to be close to her heart.

Then came a new season where she allowed herself to open her heart more to the CREATOR, and HE taught her a lot about herself; which in fact caused her to teach her momma a few things about life. Her seasons of healing came and then it came time for her season of being restored. Today I am daily watching the CREATOR bring such joy and laughter back to her beautiful heart and she is now blessed with such amazing, sincere, caring, and loving friends.

So my encouragement for you today is: no matter how many bumps in the road you hit throughout your journey; and when those bumps come to take your joy; look daily to the CREATOR to heal your heart, and allow HIM to restore you completely so that your joyful heart may be full again.
