CHANGED FROM WITHIN

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

One of the greatest lessons I have learned especially over the last twenty years is: always ask the CREATOR to change you and let HIM work on every one else. After we had our first child; I was very pushy about my husband being the Godly leader of our family so that our child or children could be raised in a Godly home. So I would always pray for the CREATOR to change him, and make him see what his position was suppose to be. Well the more I pushed the more he would not. Then one day while I was having a conversation with the CREATOR; HE said to my heart, " give him to me", and so I did.

The day I released my husband was the day the CREATOR showed me that it was my heart all along that needed to be changed. Yes I still daily pray for my husband, but now my prayer is always "if there is something in me that needs to be changed then change it Father!" Since the first time I prayed that the CREATOR has definitely changed my entire life.

So my encouragement for you today is: daily focus on allowing the CREATOR to change you from within, and let HIM take care of the rest. HE will absolutely change you and make you brand new. The CREATOR did for me and HE will do it for you too.

JUST AS YOU ARE

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

One of the most freeing thoughts that can be in our mindsets today is that simple truth: you can come to the CREATOR just as you are. HE places not one expectation on you. HE loves you flaws and all. It will never matter how many times you fall, stumble, or even walk away. The CREATOR takes you just the way you are. Society today will expect you to come already fixed, already healed, and be image perfect, but what they don't expect or even want is for you to know that they are just as broken as you are. Reality is: the CREATOR would rather you come broken because HE can and will take that brokenness, and make it beautiful.

Most of my journey I have been in the church building (I'm not condemning those who go to the building), and for me it was where I felt the most condemned. I felt like I was never good enough to fit in. Reality now for me is: I absolutely fit in with the CREATOR. As I daily took small steps to see myself the way the CREATOR sees me; it was then that I realized that I didn't have to be perfect. I just had to come to HIM because HE completely loves me just the way I am.

So my encouragement to you today is: no matter what someone says or does to you; allow yourself to come to the CREATOR just as you are and you will be amazed at how much your heart will feel and see just how much HE loves you. Have a blessed day!

STAND FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE

2 Timothy 4:17 But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me.

There will be many situations that will come your way and you will have to make a choice in believing on what you are told by someone or what you know to be truth. This is where making that daily decision comes in to stand for what you believe in or cave into what others say. As you daily build your relationship with the CREATOR and listen to HIS voice; you will find that strength to stand up for what you know is right for your life journey. Now I'm not saying that your life journey will be easy, but standing strong for what you believe in (even if you have to stand alone) is worth it.

Now here is another truth to add to this: you are really never alone when you are walking your life journey with the CREATOR. HE is always right there walking it with you. You may get criticized, but know that even in the criticism and the persecution your CREATOR'S strength is within you and you will get through it. So my encouragement for you today is: no matter what comes your way, and no matter what others might say; stand strong in what you believe because the CREATOR is standing with you.
