THE SECRET PLACE

Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

One of the best places to be is in that secret place with the CREATOR. Many people will have different perceptions of what or where your secret place should be. However, I would like to share with you my thoughts on the secret place. Its the most beautiful place to be. Its full of joy, comfort, love, and most of all its full of peace. What I have just described is simple: its the CREATOR. When you daily take time to just sit in HIS presence then you have sat in the secret place.

Daily alone time with HIM is the most fulfilling time you will have throughout your day. A very special friend of mine reminded me just two days ago that its ok to just pull away from everyone, and everything so that you can be in the secret place with the CREATOR. So my encouragement to you today is: as you daily go to that secret place with the CREATOR; know that in every moment you spend with HIM; HE will wrap you up in HIS arms, and keep you covered by HIS shadow.

THE CREATOR'S GIFT TO YOU

Joshua 24:15 But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

One of the greatest gifts that the CREATOR has given to us is the gift of a family. Whether you are married with children or not; there is someone along the way of your life journey that the CREATOR has placed in your life to show you what family is all about. The CREATOR will always show HIS love for you by placing HIS gifts before you. For myself it is my husband, and my children. They are my greatest earthly gifts from HIM. Can you think about the special gifts the CREATOR has blessed your life with?

Now there will never be a perfect family but when it comes from the CREATOR that gift will be. Every family on their life journey together will go through some hard times, but having the CREATOR at the center of your family will always lead your family to the sweet, enjoyable times together. My family has been through some hard situations, but with the CREATOR and each other we have survived and become stronger together.

So my encouragement for you today is: no matter what your family may experience; with the CREATOR being your family's foundation; you will always see the special gifts HE daily gives to you. Have a wonderful day!

FLOODED BY HIS PEACE

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

How many times can you look back at hard situations and remember that in the middle of that circumstance you felt this overwhelming sense of peace flood your heart? That my friends is the amazing love and peace of the CREATOR. There are many times I can say that HE has done that for my heart too. I can say that when I was young I didn't understand what I would feel, but now that I am older, and have been through life changing events; I can definitely recognize when the CREATOR is flooding my heart again.

Last year when I lost my dad I went through so many different emotions, but in every step I felt peace from the CREATOR flood my heart. I can say that building my relationship with the CREATOR every day has helped me face other life issues. Its always just one step at a time, and every step with HIM is worth it. So my encouragement for you today is: whatever hard situation you may be facing; if you can find you a quiet place and spend some quality time with the CREATOR, and allow HIM to flood your heart with HIS peace; you will be so grateful that you did.
