THE PROCESS

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

So I would like to start this encouragement off by saying that this title is something I have struggled with for several years. It has been and will always be a joy to my heart to encourage others, but I can honestly say that this is an area that has been hard for me. I have learned in past events that the CREATOR will prune things or even people out of our lives so that we can grow. Each journey will teach you a different lesson. When my identity journey began I was told: this will be a process!

Well let me be the first to tell you; it was, and still is. In all of the good that has come out of that ugly season; today I can say that there is still a process being done inside of me. New revelation has come and this time it was made visually for me. As much as my heart wants to let people in and every time I try; fear steps in and causes me to pull back. I don't do this on purpose; its just something that happens automatically. I don't know what will happen, but I do know that the CREATOR has a beautiful path for me, and for you. The process is not fun, but its for our benefit.

So my encouragement for you today is: even when things cause you to respond in fear; place your trust in the CREATOR'S process for your life, and in HIS perfect timing and season it will all work out for your good.

WHAT DISTRACTS YOU

1John 2:26 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.

This is one subject that I have been very guilty of. I know that there are many others who allow themselves to be distracted in life. Like most people we all have rough patches in life; some can deal with the issue, and some can not. For the most part in life I always thought that I dealt with things when they would come my way. Then life began to change in ways that I just didn't understand. So like most I allowed myself to be distracted so that I wouldn't have to face the reality of that situation.

I kept myself busy with friends, my husband, and my children, but truth be told I kept my self distracted mostly with my phone. It was always easier to research things, stay on Face Book, and watch videos, but when the CREATOR began to gently tug on my heart; it was then that I realized that not one of those things made me feel whole. The CREATOR has done a major overhaul on my heart, and today my most favorite thing to do is work in the yard and plant my little flowers. Daily seeing HIS creation and watching it grow just soothes my soul, and its just quiet time with the CREATOR. So my encouragement for you today is: whatever or whoever is a distraction in your life; allow the CREATOR to remove those distractions and fill you with HIM so that your soul will be whole.

THE CREATOR'S HUMOR

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.

One of the world's greatest needs for today is: more people need to laugh. I know that there are many situations in life that will not allow you to laugh, but if you can make time every day for just a little while and find something to laugh about it will be the best thing for your body, but more importantly it will be the best thing for your soul. I have an aunt who always says that out of every bad thing comes a good thing, and she is absolutely correct.

I can say that I have had some very hard situations in life come my way, but somehow the CREATOR brought laughter to me after each situation. Many times I have wanted the CREATOR to just zap the craziness, but HIS way of doing things is always better than ours. The CREATOR is full of joy, and that joy will bring laughter. After every rain shower; there will always be a rainbow. After every dark season; there will always be a season of light. So my encouragement for you today is: not matter how much you cry, no matter how dark things may seem; daily look to the CREATOR for HIS joy to be placed inside of you; then take time out and just laugh! Your heart will be so glad you did.
