Abused But Now Loved

In past generations the word abused was not something typically talked about. In fact it was an issue that was usually buried under the rug. In today's generation it is talked about to a certain point. Many still struggle with allowing their own self to admit it. Now abuse comes in many ways. Verbal, physical, sexual, mental, and even spiritual.

Throughout my life journey I can remember the abuse in every one of those areas. The verbal was the worst area for my soul. Always being told that I was never wanted by my father shattered me the most. Never understanding what I did to make him feel that way was hard, but today knowing the truth that my real dad ( who is in Heaven now) loved me more than I would ever know brings freedom for my soul.

So my encouragement for you today is: no matter how you may have been or are being abused; know that you have a Heavenly Father (your CREATOR) who loves you more than you will ever know and HE wants to heal you just as HE did with me. You are very much loved!
